Coasters and Beermats.com is a website for Thirsty's which was formed some 10 years ago in Johannesburg, South Africa and over the past few years, it has become the leading supplier of coaster and pulp board coasters (beer mats) to the southern Africa market. In fact, Thirsty's is now the largest supplier to the non-alcoholic beverage market in Africa, as a result of the introduction of innovative working practices and production schedules. After years in the promotional business and after many customer enquiries, we recognised that the traditional beermat was an under utilised and greatly under valued advertising medium. On further investigation we found that the humble beermat was utilised exclusively by the large breweries. This we found to be a great pity. To set right this imbalance, we then embarked on a program to deliver this proven advertising medium to a much larger audience and hence, Thirsty’s was born.

As part of a programme of product innovation and enhancement, Thirsty’s introduced the SuperCoaster in 1993 and the ‘leather look’ foiled coaster in 1994. In addition, it is now possible to have the SuperCoaster and foiled coaster packaged as a unique corporate gift.

Thirsty’s have increased their presence and acceptance in the market by attending major exhibitions and maximising the exposure for this effective advertising medium. By reducing the cost of entry through our Group Buy Runs even the smallest of businesses can participate, the potential market has been increased to a level previously believed to be impossible. This was met with considerable enthusiasm by our direct clients.

Thirstys.co.uk Limited will work with Thirsty's South Africa to exploit the enormous potential of the European market. Together with an affiliate organisation based in Malaysia, Thirsty's will now have direct representation on 3 continents. This fact alone will make it much easier to service our many customers outside our current location.
